10 days romantic Kenya safari is an experience out of this world. Safari and romance is known to go hand in hand in faraway wilderness from the usual hustle and bustle. Experience lantern lit dinners under the stars, luxury romantic accommodation, idyllic destinations and awe-inspiring wildlife all combined to give you an experience that cannot be matched.

Itinerary
You will be picked from your city hotel or airport in the morning and drive to Samburu national reserve. On arrival, you will have lunch and after short rest embark on a game drive in the reserve. Samburu is one of Kenya’s most protected parks and is home to species only native to the north of the equator, from the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, beisa oryx, gerenuk gazelle to the greater and lesser kudu. Back to the lodge in the evening and You can spend the evenings having drinks and star gazing the stunning sky.

On this day you will spend morning and evening game drives in the reserve. There is also optional came rides and cultural visit.

After breakfast depart Samburu Intrepids in the morning and drive to Meru National Park. You will arrive in time for lunch. After short rest you embark on a late afternoon game drive within the park. The park has enormous diversity of habitat and wildlife including the rare species such as caracal, the beautiful Lesser Kudu and aardwolf.
Accommodation at Elsa’s Kopje Meru
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
This is truly an off the beaten path destination. On this day you will have morning and afternoon game drives within the park with less crowd. Elsa’s Kopje offers massages to ease the stress out of tired shoulders and backs after a safari in the park. Later enjoy a romantic candle lit dinner in open air.

Meal: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
After morning breakfast, you will depart Meru national park and be driven to Ol pejeta conservancy. You will arrive around midday and have a safari lunch and a short rest in the camp. Later head out for a guided bust walk that gives you the opportunity to learn about game trails and spoor identification as well as the insects, birds and smaller mammals of Ol Pejeta.

Enjoy breakfast by the river, followed by your own exclusive game drive through the conservancy. Have a safari lunch in the camp, enjoy a massage in the thatched-roof treatment room or take a dip in the pool. In the evening, sip sundowners on the plains before ending your day with a candlelit dinner for two at the camp.

After breakfast you will drive to Mount Kenya National Park. Accommodation will be at the iconic Fairmont Mountain Kenya Safari club. It borders Mount Kenya which offers incredible views of the second highest mountain in Africa. Here, it will be mainly about relaxation with options of activities like golfing, horse riding safari, nature walk and many more at an extra cost.

Meal: Lunch and Dinner
After breakfast check out and drive back to Nairobi. The 10 days romantic safari ends when you return to the bustling Nairobi.
